Sean Finn

Service Description

With more than 25 years of experience playing both guitar and bass, Sean has played almost every style imaginable – R&B, jazz, rock, fusion, and classical to name a few. A lifelong music learner, he also dabbles on drums, piano, saxophone, flute, clarinet, trumpet, and trombone. Currently in the final year of his bachelor's degree in music performance/education at The University of Maine at Augusta's nationally acclaimed Jazz and Contemporary Music Program, Sean is a passionate music educator and has been teaching privately and publicly for more than 15 years. His common-sense approach to music theory requires no sight reading and will have you not just playing, but understanding what you play in no time. He does also offer sight reading for both guitar and bass if desired. He excels with younger students, and his faithful sidekick Lucky is always a big hit. Sean has been actively gigging for more than 25 years, and currently plays every week with one of New England's premier cover bands, Tilden Katz.
